ITC recognizes environmental and resource conservation as a key management priority and is committed to achieving a sustainable society through all its business activities, from development and manufacturing to distribution and disposal.

1.Management of Chemical Substances in Products

ITC ensures the proper handling of chemical substances in all products, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
We do not use legally prohibited substances in our products and fulfill all required labeling obligations and testing evaluations.

2.Management of Chemicals in Manufacturing Processes

ITC takes appropriate measures to manage and mitigate the environmental impact of any chemical substances used in our manufacturing processes.

3.Environmental Management System

ITC establishes and operates an Environmental Management System (EMS).
The EMS is a comprehensive management framework for promoting environmental activities, including organizational structure, planned activities, responsibilities, practices, procedures, processes, and resources. Environmental activities involve establishing an environmental policy, planning and implementing measures accordingly, and conducting reviews for continuous improvement.

4.Minimizing Environmental Impact (Wastewater, Sludge, Emissions, etc.)

ITC complies with national laws and regulations regarding wastewater, sludge, and emissions. These are properly identified, monitored, and managed to minimize environmental impact.

5.Effective Use of Resources and Energy

ITC sets voluntary targets for resource and energy conservation and is committed to their continuous and effective use.
We recognize the importance of reducing material usage in products, minimizing waste, and promoting the use of recycled resources.
Our energy conservation efforts focus on the efficient use of electricity, gas, and other energy sources.

6.Reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions

ITC improves energy efficiency and reduces energy consumption to lower greenhouse gas emissions.

7.Waste Reduction

ITC sets voluntary targets for reducing final waste and works continuously toward them. Final waste refers to waste that requires landfilling or incineration.
We set targets and develop plans to continuously reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill.

8.Disclosure of Environmental Initiatives

ITC discloses the results of its environmental activities as appropriate.
To facilitate this, we assign specific organizations and managers to oversee environmental conservation efforts, who are responsible for continuously recording progress toward targets and other relevant environmental matters.
